Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SellSnap AI handles information when you visit our website, create an account, use the platform or contact us.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, account details, support requests and subscription information. When you use SellSnap AI to run a product-selling workflow, you may choose to add product, order, customer, delivery, review and content information to the platform.

We also receive limited technical and usage information, such as device and browser details, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and service logs. Our website uses Google Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand website performance and usage.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve SellSnap AI, operate accounts and subscriptions, process requests, provide support, protect the security of the service, communicate important service information, and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell personal information. We use data only as needed to operate the service, provide features you request, and improve the reliability and safety of the platform.

Sharing and integrations

We may share information with service providers that help us host the service, process payments, provide analytics, send communications, or deliver features you choose to connect. For example, sellers may choose to connect payment, shipping, advertising, email or messaging providers. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate lawful basis and required notices or consent for any customer information you add to SellSnap AI or share through connected services.

Google account and Gmail access

Connecting Gmail is optional. With your permission, SellSnap AI uses your connected Google account information to identify the sending account and the Gmail send permission to send emails you request or configure, including order notifications and email automations. This integration does not request permission to read your inbox, retrieve your contacts, or modify existing mailbox messages.

Google authorization tokens are used by our backend to maintain the connection and send authorized emails. They are not included in AI prompts. Our Gmail integration does not retrieve inbox messages for AI processing.

Google Workspace data and Limited Use

The use and transfer of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use, sell, or transfer Google Workspace user data, including raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived data, to create, train, or improve foundational or generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not permit that use by our AI service providers. Google Workspace data is used only for the user-facing features you authorize and other uses permitted by the Limited Use requirements. These restrictions take precedence over the general service-improvement and sharing language elsewhere in this policy.

AI features and third-party providers

When you use AI features, SellSnap AI may send the merchant-provided product information, product images, instructions, and draft content needed for your request to hosted AI services. We use the OpenAI API for AI generation and Microsoft Azure OpenAI as a fallback for eligible text requests. These are hosted services, not self-hosted or offline models.

AI email drafting uses merchant-provided settings, instructions, and template content; it does not read your Gmail inbox. Avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in AI instructions or draft content.

Google Workspace user data must not be submitted to optional provider feedback, evaluation, fine-tuning, or input/output sharing programs for generalized model training. Processing to provide an AI response is distinct from model training. Providers may retain data for service delivery, security, abuse monitoring, or legal obligations under their applicable API terms; we do not represent these integrations as having Zero Data Retention.

Disconnecting Google and requesting deletion

You can disconnect Gmail through SellSnap AI and revoke access through your Google Account third-party connections settings. Revoking access stops future authorized access; it does not automatically delete information already retained by SellSnap AI. Contact support@sellsnapai.com to request deletion of retained connected-account information, subject to applicable legal and security obligations.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update account information through the service or contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, billing or operational reasons. You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings; some analytics technologies may continue to operate as described by their providers.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Contact support@sellsnapai.com with privacy questions or requests.
