PLAN SELECTION

Is SellSnap AI Starter Enough for Your First Product Launch?

Is SellSnap AI Starter right for your first product launch? Compare funnel limits, AI credits, commission and setup needs before choosing Starter or Pro.

Four checks for choosing a selling plan: funnel capacity, checkout readiness, order operations and costs

SellSnap AI Starter is worth evaluating if you are launching a focused product offer and want the selling journey in one workspace. It is not automatically the cheapest option at every order volume, and an included feature does not mean every external service is configured. Start with the launch you actually intend to run: how many funnels, which payment methods, and who will prepare orders for dispatch?

1. Define Your First Launch

A Meta-ad campaign for one kitchen accessory and a creator's skincare collection need different buying paths. Write down your promoted offer, variants and delivery coverage before choosing a subscription.

Identify the essential steps: understand the product, choose an option, see the total, place the order and receive confirmation. Evaluate Starter against those requirements rather than a hypothetical future catalogue. A smaller subscription alone does not guarantee lower total costs or successful sales.

2. Separate Funnel Limits From AI Credits

The public pricing page checked on September 19, 2026 lists up to ten published product funnels and five monthly AI Funnel credits for Starter. Published-funnel capacity and generation credits are different allowances.

Do not assume unlimited regeneration or that every edit consumes a credit. Confirm usage rules in your account and prepare accurate product facts, photographs and offer details before generating a funnel.

Evaluate the AI product funnel builder with one real item. Review generated claims, variants and prices yourself; AI assistance does not replace checking what customers will read and buy.

3. Verify Checkout and External Setup

Starter's published offering includes checkout, COD and payment gateway support. Check that charges are visible, product selections remain correct and customers can distinguish an accepted order from a failed payment.

Where COD is offered, explain its conditions. An order submission is not a collected payment or completed delivery. Gateway approval and supported payment methods need separate checks.

Test the branded checkout experience on a phone. A subscription is not a promise that third-party payment or shipping onboarding will finish immediately.

4. Check the Operational Workflow

Starter also lists shipping, order tools, customer communication, analytics, offers, reviews and Store Link. Check who reviews addresses, how dispatch is arranged and what happens after an order is placed.

Use a controlled testing process so you do not accidentally book shipments or send real promotional messages. Confirm sending limits, provider charges and prerequisites; included communication features do not necessarily mean every message is free.

Compare the order-management workflow with your actual fulfilment process before directing paid traffic to the offer.

5. Budget for Commission, Not Just Subscription

Starter is listed at INR 999 per month plus 3% per-order commission; Pro is INR 2,999 per month without that platform commission.

In a hypothetical month where INR 20,000 is subject to the full 3% commission, commission would be INR 600. Adding Starter's subscription gives INR 1,599 before other applicable costs. This is arithmetic, not a quotation or predicted bill.

The public page does not fully define the commission base or treatment of shipping, taxes, cancellations and refunds. Confirm those terms. Budget separately for payment processing, couriers, advertising and other applicable costs.

Read the current SellSnap AI pricing comparison before purchasing. Prices and entitlements can change, and no platform commission does not mean no selling costs.

6. Know When Pro Deserves a Look

Consider Pro if custom-domain support is essential, if you need more funnels or credits, or if commission materially changes the cost comparison at your expected volume. The public page places custom domain and priority support in Pro.

Use realistic scenarios and verified requirements, not optimistic sales forecasts. Upgrading capacity cannot fix an unclear offer or a poorly tested buying experience.

7. Use the Trial to Make the Decision

SellSnap advertises a seven-day trial with two AI Product Funnel credits and no card required. Prepare one product, preview the journey and record what you cannot verify. Confirm trial publishing permissions before promising a launch date.

Follow the pre-launch checkout testing checklist during your trial. Choose Starter when it meets your requirements and costs make sense; choose Pro when a verified need justifies the change.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Starter only for one product?

No. The public page lists up to ten published funnels and product, variant and inventory tools. Confirm product-specific limits rather than assuming unlimited products.

Does Starter include Instagram auto-DM automation?

Do not assume so. The creator offering discussed here is Store Link and product selling, not Instagram auto-DM or flow-builder functionality.

Does a paid plan complete shipping and payment setup?

No. Check provider accounts, approvals, supported settings and operating costs separately before accepting orders.
